Afiniti Residences (pictured), the residential component of the Afiniti Medini mixed wellness development in Medini, Iskandar Malaysia, has received a total of 1,570 applications with Malaysians accounting for about 60 percent. The rest comprise of foreigners from Singapore, the UK, Indonesia and South Korea.
The applications will undergo a balloting process this Saturday (June 8) at Traders Hotel in Puteri Harbour and is being audited by KPMG.
The 147-unit luxury residential project is being developed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pulau Indah Ventures (PIV) — a 50:50 joint venture between Singapore’s Temasek Holdings and Malaysia’s Khazanah Nasional.
Unit types range from studio, one-bedroom-plus-study, two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-study. Facilities include a rooftop recreation centre, swimming and wading pool, and fitness centre. The development is expected to be completed in 2015.
“Afiniti Residences offers iconic urban wellness living in the thriving new city of Medini Iskandar Malaysia for families and corporate professionals seeking a work-life balance. We are encouraged by the overwhelming response to the residences, and continue to see interest in the other components of Afiniti Medini, designed to be a regional wellness destination for families, tourists and professionals alike,” said Roslina Arbak, General Manager at PIV.
