SG HDB launches 3898 BTO flats

A total of 3,898 new Build-to-Order (BTO) flats were launched today in the three non-mature towns of Bukit Batok, Punggol and Sengkang, said the Housing and Development Board (HDB).
This latest release consists of studio apartments, two-, three-, four-, and five-room flats.
Eligible first-timer households can enjoy up to S$60,000 of housing grants comprising an additional CPF housing grant (S$40,000) and special CPF housing grant (S$20,000).
Taking these grants into consideration, three-room flats will be priced from as low as S$159,000, while four-room units start from S$269,000.
Applications for the new flats can be submitted from today and closes on 27 March.
HDB's next BTO launch will be in May, with 4,850 flats to be offered in Choa Chu Kang, Hougang, Jurong West, Sembawang and Woodlands.
