Liew Mun Leong, the former head of CapitaLand Group, has been appointed Provost’s Chair Professor (Practice) in both the Business School and Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

He will teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes on management and leadership at NUS Business School and provide research assistance, leadership and strategic advice to NUS Staff.

“I am indeed honoured by this appointment by NUS. I strongly believe in the credo of ‘building people’ and along this vein I will be happy to share some of my business experiences with business and engineering students at NUS,” stated Liew.

He will also maintain his roles as a member of NUS Business School’s Management Advisory Board and Chairman of Changi Airport Group among others.

Liew has over 42 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, leading and directing public companies listed in the region and helping to build Changi Airport as well as other establishments.
