Zoocasa relaunches its online and mobile real estate search engine in the Greater Toronto Area today, including a component that provides leads to real estate sales reps who join the program.

Now that Zoocasa is registered as a real estate brokerage in Ontario, “consumers can search the most complete database of MLS property listings on,” says Lawrence Dale, group head of real estate, in a news release. “When they are ready to engage an agent, they can choose from our all-star directory of experienced partner agents that we’ve hand-picked.”

The company is also launching a new consumer rebate for home buyers or sellers. It says on a typical $550,000 transaction, a consumer can expect a rebate of more than $2,000. It comes in the form of cash and gift cards from national retailers including Best Buy, Home Depot, Sears, Canadian Tire and Rogers, the company says.

Zoocasa says the launch will initially focus on the Greater Toronto Area before “quickly rolling out” across all major markets in Canada.

“We believe the customer who is in the market to buy or sell a home in the GTA will see the launch of this new service as a huge value for them,” says Carolyn Beatty, president of Zoocasa. “They’ll be able to find the right home, the right agent and they’ll get cash back to spend on their new home.”
