THE first photos inside Shane Warne's luxurious Brighton mansion have emerged.

The Spin King's bayside house has been on the market for almost a year and is believed to have been  heavily discounted recently.

Early estimates had put the silent price tag as high as $20 million, but the house is now being marketed for a more modest $15 million.

The home's interior is extremely masculine making it more like the ultimate man cave than the romantic sanctuary  you would expect after from a property that gained notoriety as a love nest for Warne and his now-fiancé, Elizabeth Hurley.

The Italianate mansion certainly isn't skinny on luxury features with massive rooms throughout and enough white on white to satisfy any minimalist.

One of the bedrooms - we assume the couple's - runs the full depth of the first-floor, comes with a spa ensuite and a large dressing room - plus its own "private skygarden terrace with outdoor fireplace".

The property has four bedrooms, a swimming pool emblazoned with the bowler's cricket number, 23, tennis courts, a 15-car underground carpark and paparazzi-proof fencing.

Other features include an aquarium, theatre and Gaggenau appliances.

There also is a monster entertainment space at the rear that extends into the backyard.

Warne is believed to be selling the home, built in 1885 and named Kilkerran, to spend more time at his luxury manor house in the English countryside.

Warne's former home, another Brighton mansion, is also on the market.

Brighton real estate agency J.P. Dixon is selling both houses and Jonathan Dixon said they represented two of Melbourne's most prestigious properties.

"With notable Victorian detail, including multiple marble fireplaces and lavish leadlights . . . this significant home is a masterpiece of modern family living, with a unique heritage as one of Brighton's finest historical homes," Mr Dixon said of Warne's home.
